The project Special Educational Needs for All - CESPeT is carried out - from August 2010 until July 2013 - by "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University from Iasi in partnership with VIA University College Denmark, Botosani County School Inspectorate, Braila County School Inspectorate, Iasi County School Inspectorate, Maramures County School Inspectorate, Mures County School Inspectorate and Vaslui County School Inspectorate.
The overall objective of the project Special Educational Needs for All - CESPeT is to increase the access of children with special educational needs having dropped out or at risk of dropout to formal and non-formal educational programs, with a view to their social and professional integration.
The activities undertook within the CESPeT project are organized around the following elements: the Center for Training and Research in the field of Special Education (CTRSE) - see Laboratories; intervention/prevention strategies targeting school dropout among students with SEN; the school-community-parents partnership; training programs for teachers / specialists, parents/guardians of students with SEN at risk of dropout; reintegration activities for students with SEN having dropped out of school; scholarships; Romania - Denmark comparative study; the good practices guide for the specialists involved in the integration/reintegration of students with SEN; a proposal amending the Law 448/2006 - see Results.
The Center for Training and Research in the field of Special Education (CTRSE) and its six subsidiary laboratories (organized in each of the 6 partner counties: Botosani, Braila, Iasi, Maramures, Mures and Vaslui) carry out activities focused on human resources training, on the research of the SEN phenomenon and on the development of the differentiated curriculum as well as of strategies - methods, procedures, means - to be used in order to reduce school dropout incidence among students with locomotion and sensory disabilities.
The results targeted through the implementation of the CESPeT project are identifiable by reference to the objectives, the proposed activities and their target group.
