INVEST IN PEOPLE
The specific objectives of the SCAN project involve:
- The development of strategies and action plans in order to prevent early school dropout among 2000 students from four regions of Romania - the north-eastern, the north-western, the central and the south-eastern regions;
- The implementation of action guidelines for the prevention of early school dropout through the financial support of 2000 students, the training of 600 teachers and the counselling and professional certification of 400 parents from six counties of Romania (Braila, Botosani, Iasi, Maramures, Mures and Vaslui);
- The development and testing of methodologies, trainings and seminars for teachers, parents and other categories of professionals from those four regions of Romania
- The identification and implementation of students' reintegration strategies in the case of 90 persons who have dropped out of school, undertaking intervention actions in the case of 1910 students at risk of dropout/having dropped out of school, counselling and career guidance services provided to 1510 parents, over a period of three years.
